I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental Psychosynthesis Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy service in Hendon and Finchley, North-West London.
Working with people from all walks of life, I help with a wide range of issues such as low-mood, stress, anxiety, grief, relationships, loss of direction, low self-esteem, lack of confidence and feelings of worthlessness in addition to many other concerns.
I have a lifetime’s experience of being with individuals who feel a need to talk. My background was originally in Nursery Nursing and I later developed an interest in the psychology of adults.
My career and interest in counselling developed more fully in the mid 1990’s at the University of Hertfordshire where I received a qualification in Counselling. There I truly discovered my passion for helping others and being there to support them during difficult times.
We all experience suffering and difficulties at some point in our lives. I found myself drawn to Psychosynthesis Counselling and the potential for healing that it provides and I am now continuing my work with adults suffering emotional difficulties, relationship difficulties and trauma amongst many other issues.
In addition to my private practice, I also work as a volunteer therapist at a local Carers Centre.
I am fully qualified and have a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy. I abide by the London Institute of Psychosynthesis Code of Practice & Ethics and The Association of Psychospiritual Practitioners (APP) and am an accredited, registered member of The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as well as a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I completed my Masters Degree in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London which is affiliated to Middlesex University.
You can find me in the UK Counselling Directory and listed with The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and the UK Council for Psychotherapy
